- If you are determined to connect at 28K, you can try changing your
- dialing string to something like: ATN0S37=???DT <number>
- (lookup the ?? for the correct value from modem's manual)..
- this will FORCE the modem to connect at 28, and nothing else.

- I often use this trick to force a connection at 9600, because that's the
- only value me and my VirtualNet provider's modem can agree on :)
